Step Up  

Introduction
The film Step up was made in 2006 by Summit entertainment 
It is an American Romance Dance film set in Baltimore, Maryland.            
Producer

The producers of step up were Erik Feig, Jennifer Gibgot, Adam Shankman and Patrick Wachsberger. film producer is a person who oversees film production. Either employed by a production company or working independently, producers plan and coordinate various aspects of film production, such as selecting the script; coordinating writing, directing, and editing; and arranging financing.

The Series Producer has a key role in shaping the production story, as they oversee the whole production and post-production team. They develop scripts, are involved in the filming process, and supervise the edit.
Target audience
The target audience for Step Up is young adults due to it's somewhat mainstream storyline with elements of romance and cool dance-offs it is the embodiment of the generation that has blew up on the big screen. It also addresses real life issues that the young adults may be able to relate to and teaches that teamwork always helps to overcome those problems. I fell that the target audience was correctly selected as the young adults relate more to the elements of the story and can understand it more than a younger or older generation, it also appeals to them directly with things such as dance-offs and hip-hop music.
